I am working hard to support the North Texas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure because I want to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Please help us reach our fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible donation today. Our group is presenting the Komen North Texas Ride for the Cure 2010; we hope to raise $150,000 which will aid men and women who are affected this dreaded disease.
You may donate online with your credit card by clicking the "Support Mary" button at the top of this page. Your support helps us get another step closer to a world without breast cancer. Join us as a rider, volunteer as we get ready for the big event in October or SPONSOR THE EVENT. Sponsor ship brings many benefits.
Your breast health?
The greatest risk factors for breast cancer are being female and growing older. Breast cancer knows no boundary, be it age, gender, socio-economic status or geographic location. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. That is one in eight within your company, school and organiz
What does Komen do?
For more than 25 years, Komen for the Cure has played a critical role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer ? transforming how the world talks about and treats this disease, and helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.
Over the next 25 years, an estimated 25 million women around the world will be diagnosed with breast cancer if we don?t find a cure. Komen will not stop until we discover and deliver the cures. That?s our promise.
The Komen North Texas Ride for the Cure will take place on October 30 at TADRA Pointe in the Caddo-LBJ National Grasslands at Decatur, Texas. We hope to host 150+ riders and their very own equine families. Each rider must raise or pay $250 to join the ride.......help as many as you can! Also take a look at our web site: www.komennorthtexas.org We are proud of the work our friend Jeff Old and his companyy, Visual App, did for us on that project.
We Will Find the Cure!
